What is out there in space? Maybe you will travel into space someday. Entrepreneurs are making it happen. Read what Sir Richard Branson is doing with SpacePort America in New Mexico. There is a sense of romance under a canopy of twinkling stars. We stick paper and/or plastic star cut outs on the ceilings over our kids’ beds. We paint beautiful night skies with clouds over our beds. One of the first things we learn to draw as children is a five-pointed star. As children, we draw pictures with stars and the moon in the sky. We love stars. Turn this into a profitable business.
Visit an observatory and get inspired. Find out more at "Star Date" published by McDonald Observatory in west Texas. Go to a planetarium. Organize Star Gazing Tours Once you have acquired a basic knowledge of the heavens, you can sell what you know to inspire others. Organize a star gazing club. Collect fees to cover your time and expenses. Organize star tours. Travel out of town to a preselected remote area away from the big city lights. Turn your van into a "space ship". Read about Astronomy.net. Host Romantic Dinners Under the Stars Organize romantic dinners under the stars for couples celebrating anniversaries (or other romantic occasion). Or have a less formal picnic under the stars for families. You create the place and set the atmosphere. You are the entertainment as you talk about the stars, sing about the stars, or read poetry about the stars. Explain what is happening in the night sky on the very night of your dinner. Show your guests how the stars are aligned. Make a special record of the night sky for your guests to keep as a momento of this special evening. Make a note of a special occurrence. For example, Christmas Eve 2007 Mars was very bright in the night sky as it was lined up exactly across from the sun. It will not be so aligned nor so bright again for 9 more years. If you need and cannot get a special permit to serve the food that you make, then have the dinner catered by a resturant in town. Then all you have to do is to create the romantic setting. Dangle stars from the ceiling of the gazebo or canopy you set up. Use a rotating light that puts stars up on the ceiling. Make your guests feel like stars -- the stars of the show.
