In some places, many people watched their neighbors drive away to try and escape Hurricane Rita.  People watched as others emptied stores of staple supplies.  Hurricane Katrina had just devasted Louisiana and folks wanted to get as far away as possible.  The traffic snarled as did drivers.  We all realized just how ill prepared we are for emergencies. 

Have we learned anything?  Do we have a year's supply of water stashed under our beds?  Do we have medical supplies?  Maybe we just need someone to help us get organized.   That is how the idea for this entrepreneurial business came about.  Hire yourself out to one and all.  We can use not only the expertise, but help in finding ways to prepare and store our supplies.  Become the expert who will help your community and beyond.  Reading it in a book could be somewhat helpful, but we really want you to come to our house and show us how.  Give speeches, teach us, and make it easy for us.

Construct Emergency Cellars

Build a storm cellar in your backyard.  It can be attached to your house or separate.  Use it as a root cellar or for play.  A wine cellar is a much more complicated operation.  However, if you collect wine, this might be a worthwhile endeavor to serve two purposes.
