Knot Again Knotter

When you reach the end of your rope, tie a knot in it and hang on. --  Thomas Jefferson

Make money as an entrepreneur working at home tying knots into hammocks and plant hangers.  Use Chinese, Celtic, and macramé knots.

Trying knots is a necessary skill for fishing and boating.  Knowing how to make knots comes in handy all life long and most of us can tie two or three different kinds of knots.  There is a demand for one who can teach these skills and for the products one can produce using knots.

Create Jewelry with Macramé

Macramé was a popular craft in the 70's and 80's.  Hippies made and wore simple macramé jewelry in the 60's.  Bring this art form back. This simple folk art is fun to make and you can design as many different jewelry pieces as you can knot. Make these pieces using decorative knots.  Add beads.

 Make Plant Hangers

Use macramé techniques to make rope hangers to hang your potted plants and birdbaths.

Make Jewelry with Chinese Knots

Learn how to make Chinese knots and when and where they are to be used.  Sell products with these knots and write a little card and attach it to the product to tell the purpose for which each is intended.  Learn more about these Chinese knots and their meanings.

Make Jewelry with Celtic Knots

Celtic braid

Draw Celtic knots.  Use them in jewelry designs as well as other art forms.   Celtic knot

Make and Sell Hammocks

The hammock is the ultimate backyard necessity.  When one thinks of relaxing in the backyard, the hammock is at the top of the list. Make these with your knotting skills.

Sponsor Knotting Contests

What a fun way to show off knotting skills.  Have a contest.

Make Pet Toys for your Knot-Headed Pets

Balls, knotted and braided, make great pet toys.  Dogs love to play and pull on a knotted rope toy.  Design and make your own line. Sell locally or over the Internet.
