Squirrel Sponsor

A squirrel is just a rat with a cuter outfit. -- Sarah Jessica Parker

Make money working from home using your love for squirrels as the basis.  Create and sell squirrel houses, food balls, and yard signs.

Love that Squirrel

Squirrels and birds can live in harmony in your yard with some creative help from you. Squirrels are cute, rascally little fellows that can keep you entertained for hours.

Squirrel

Keep squirrel feeders and birdfeeders at least 15 feet apart.  Better yet, feed your birds in the backyard and the squirrels in your front or side yard.

Give squirrels plenty of food and the food that they really like so they are not on the prowl for bird food.

Because squirrels are such smart creatures, they need to be entertained.   It will challenge your squirrels and entertain them while at the same time feeding them and keeping them away from your birds.

Some people see squirrels as pesky, but they do not harm birds and are really very peace loving. They have great energy that needs to be channeled -- into entertaining you.  They are always hungry and eat constantly.  Feed them and keep them happy.  Your birds will be happy, too.

We cannot imagine a neighborhood without squirrels. Our neighborhood was like that once, but not any more.  Our lives are so enriched by the care, feeding, and watching of these bright energetic little creatures. We are so absorbed in their activities that we can hardly remember when they were not part of our lives.

Squirrels coexist peacefully with all their neighbors and wildlife.  They wish no one any harm.  If you do not want them in your attic so they can keep warm in the winter, do the necessary repairs to your house so they cannot enter your home.

Feed birds in a separate location from where you feed your squirrels.  There are squirrel guards you can buy to prevent squirrels from eating your bird food.  But remember, squirrels need food, too, so do not neglect these adorable critters.

Promote Squirrels

Make signs to remind drivers to slow down for squirrels. Make these from wood, metal, or engrave stones. Here are some suggesions:

I'm Nuts About Squirrels

Make and sell bird feeders that are squirrel resistant.  Folks who love to feed and watch birds would also care for squirrels if the squirrels were not such a pest.  Help all live in peace.

Make and sell squirrel feeder boxes.  Feed the squirrels and they will not want to eat from your birdfeeders.

Paint pictures of squirrels on mugs. Create mouse pads, magnets, and coasters with squirrels on them. Create calendars; make videos; make stained glass windows.

Make cookies and candies in the shape of squirrels.

Sell your products to squirrel-lovers and to promote the squirrels in your backyard.

Figure out the traits that you love about squirrels and build a business based on those same qualities.
