Swamp Keeper Where there are no swamps there are no frogs. -- German Proverb
Make money working from home selling toads, tadpoles, and turtles. Design and create backyard wetlands. Build Backyard Wetlands As a backyard entrepreneur, you might find your interest lies in creating a backyard wetland. Since you're going to have a pond or two, you're going to have to go outside in your big yard and get busy creating a mini wetlands eco system. You'll want tadpoles and turtles to start. Depending upon your location, you might get some wildlife, too. Get your camera ready.
Learn proper filtration systems and ways to keep the water moving. To prevent the water from getting stagnant, you'll need a little fountain or dripper to keep the water moving. Water sounds attract birds and frogs. Since ponds are at ground level, you must protect wildlife from cats and dogs.
You can dig a large pond to go along with a few preformed plastic ponds to create interest in the varity. Each pond can have its own mini eco system with turtles, frogs and plants. Place a garden bridge over the larger pond and connect them all with stepping stones or a gravel path. See our page Backyard Ichthyologist for more pond ideas. That page has information about fish, ducks, and ponds. Sell Tadpoles, Frogs, Toads, and Turtles
Turtles, toads, and frogs have babies so you can sell the offspring for other ponds. Make sure to screen people before you sell these cute critters; you want to be sure they are given a safe home. Sell Swamp Designs
